PLANNING YOUR WEDDING CAKE

Your wedding cake is the perfect complement to the unforgettable day you’ve so carefully planned and a centre-piece that brings joy to your guests and celebrates you as a couple.

 

As a baker and cake designer I love being part of those special moments. I create beautifully crafted bespoke wedding cakes with a modern touch in the finest ingredients.

 As soon as you’ve secured your date and venue, get in touch and sharing your ideas, inspirations, and overall wedding vision. I will confirm if your date is available and help with ideas and initial quotes. Don’t worry if you’re unsure about the exact design or finish, this is just to get a sense of your day and style.

​

All my wedding cakes are individually design to complement your wedding day and you as a couple, but here are some of my previous designs.

THE BOOKING PROCESS

To start planning your cake design I will need guest numbers, venue and as mentioned any ideas or inspirations. I'm happy to offer initial quotes and suggestions at this stage.

 

You can then save your date with a £100 non-refundable deposit, and relax knowing your date is secure and we can start creating your perfect cake design.

 

The next step would be to book in for a consultation to discuss your ideas in more detail and any personal design elements or inspirational images. You’ll also receive a selection box of six sponge flavours to take home and enjoy, which are complementary for couples who have secured their date.

My boxes are £20 for 6 delicious flavours of your choice.

SPONGE FLAVOUR SELECTION

All our cakes are made with the highest quality ingredients,

free ranges eggs, delicous preserves and curds, Belgian chocolate

and the finest Swiss fondant.

CLASSIC VICTORIA

Vanilla sponge, raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream

 

LEMON & BLUEBERRY

Light lemon sponge with a crushed blueberry vanilla buttercream

 

RICH CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE

Rich chocolate sponge with a chocolate ganache buttercream

 

MORELLO CHERRY & ALMOND

A delicate almond sponge with morello cherry compote and a smooth

buttercream centre

Rich sponge soaked in a caramel syrup with a salted caramel buttercream

Pistachio sponge with a crunchy pistachio cream and a hint or rose water

Sticky, rich walnut madeira with an espresso buttercream spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg

 

WHITE CHOCOLATE PASSIONFRUIT

Light vanilla sponge with passionfruit curd and a white chocolate ganache cream

 

CLASSIC CARROT CAKE

Classic moist carrot cake with a hint of cinnamon and a cream cheese buttercream

Tangy & rich luxury with a cream cheese buttercream

 

RASPBERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE

Delicate sponge with fresh raspberry compote and a white chocolate ganache cream

THE FINAL DETAILS

Closer to your wedding day is when your final cake design comes together. We'll catch up to discuss any new inspirations or changes to your original ideas, finalise guest numbers and any additional desserts or dietary requirements. 

​

You will then receive a sketched of your final cake design to help visualise how it will look and bring your beautiful cake design to life.

​

Your final balance will be due 28 days before your wedding day which is the lastest date to make any final changes to your booking. I will then contact your venue and any other supplier to ensure everything runs smoothly. You can then relax and get ready for the wonderful day to come knowing your wedding cake will be delivered and carefully setup, for you and your guests to enjoy throughout your special day.
